Buying
Yes. Every piece passes a six-stage verification by a specialist trained on the originating house before it goes live.
Every listing includes six to ten studio photographs and a written condition note that identifies any signs of wear, however subtle. If we missed something — which is rare — we refund the difference.
Pieces over $5,000 may be reserved for forty-eight hours by writing to concierge. A small holding fee applies to keep the listing fair to other buyers.
We accept Affirm and Klarna at checkout on most pieces, subject to provider approval. For pieces over $25,000, a private payment plan can be arranged through concierge.
Selling
Between 30% and 90% of the sale price, depending on the price band, the brand tier, and your seller tier. Store credit conversion adds a further 10% bonus.
Our pricing specialists recommend a price using comparable sales, current demand, and condition. You see the recommendation and can counter before listing.
Nothing. Shipping, authentication, photography, and storage are complimentary. You are paid the agreed percentage when your piece sells.
After sixty days, we suggest a thoughtful markdown. If a piece remains unsold after a further sixty days, we return it to you, free.
Payouts dispatch within five business days of the buyer's return window closing. Payouts may be direct deposit, mailed check, or store credit (with a 10% bonus).
Authentication
If a piece is determined inauthentic by the originating house or an independent specialist of equivalent standing, we issue a full refund. We have not yet had to.
Yes. Vintage requires deeper provenance review and often more time; we will indicate the additional turnaround at submission.
Standalone authentication is available by appointment. Pricing depends on category; please write to concierge.
Shipping
We ship to over forty countries with insured, signature-required carriers. International duties are calculated at checkout where required.
Within the United States: one to three business days. Within Europe: two to four. Worldwide: four to seven.
Always — at the full value of the piece, for both buyer and seller.
Returns
Yes — within fourteen days of receipt, provided the piece is in the condition received, with all packaging and our authentication tag intact.
Returns are at the buyer's expense, except in cases where the condition or authenticity is in dispute — in which case we cover all costs.
Account & payouts
Inside your seller portal under Payouts — pending balance, next payout date, full history, and your annual 1099-K (US sellers).
Yes, at any time, in the Payouts section of your seller portal.
All sellers complete a Stripe Identity check at onboarding. Data is encrypted at rest and never shared outside the verification flow.
