Every piece sold at Luxury Boutique passes a six-stage verification by specialists trained on the houses they handle. The authentication record stays with the piece — for you, and for the next owner.
The six stages
A process you can read.
01
Visual and material survey
Stitch count, leather grain, weave geometry, edge paint, lining cut. The first pass identifies the unmistakeable signatures of the house.

Hardware inspection
Stamps, weight, plating tone, screw heads, hinge action. Hardware is where most forgeries fail. We carry reference catalogs spanning four decades per house.

Serial and date code reconciliation
Each code is checked against the house's known sequence and our internal archive. We have seen too many to be fooled.

Provenance review
Receipts, certificates, prior service records, original boxes. We read them in the order they arrived, not in the order they sold.

Specialist sign-off
A second specialist examines anything flagged. Where any doubt persists, we go to the house directly or return the piece. We never list a maybe.

The authentication record
A documented record of what was checked, what was found, and who did the checking — published with the piece, kept by the buyer.

Our guarantee
If we get it wrong, we make it right.
Every piece comes with our written authentication guarantee. If a piece is later determined inauthentic by the originating house or an independent specialist of equivalent standing, you receive a full refund and our apology.
We have not yet had to issue one. The standard is not the marketing — it is the work.
